Since 1951, Hope Ridge has been a part of the Concord Township, Mentor, and Painesville communities.

The church started in Melridge Elementary School and over the course of five decades has helped establish social service organizations, hosted countless community and recovery groups, worshiped every Sunday, connected children, youth, and adults in small groups, and served the greater community based on the model of Christ. Hope Ridge UMC has been a presence in local, regional, and international communities and has impacted lives and helped people experience the life-changing power of Jesus Christ.

We would love to connect and hear your story.

We are followers of Jesus who want to be disciples, make disciples, and help one another mature as disciples.

Hope Ridge UMC fulfills its mission to welcome all, to worship God, to nurture one another through the work of the Holy Spirit, and to be sent out and serve in Christ's name.

Service in our community and world is a long tradition at Hope Ridge UMC.

Living out our faith by serving in missions and social concerns are central to our faith. The United Methodist Church uniquely has a social creed, as we strive to live our faith in the world. We learn together to be sent into the world as agents of transformation.

As a United Methodist Church , we are a part of a connectional church that has believers around the world.

We share many beliefs with other Christians but include a primacy of grace.

We believe in the importance of understanding our faith through scripture, reason, tradition, and experience.

We celebrate the sacraments of baptism and holy communion.

Here at Hope Ridge, our doors are open to anyone. We seek to help you find your journey with God and to know and grow with him more and more! We look forward to seeing you and being a part in your journey with Christ.
