Baptism is a sacrament of initiation into the body of Christ, the church. It is the beginning of a life-long journey as a disciple of Jesus Christ.

 

  We believe that it is an outward sign of the inward grace of God. Baptism incorporates new members into the church, to promote spiritual growth. It identifies the one as a baptized Christian. It signifies death, rebirth, and new life in Jesus Christ. And, it assures us that our sins are forgiven.

 

We offer baptism classes several times a year but are always willing to meet with families or individuals interested in being baptized. Infants, children, and adults are all welcome to partake in the sacrament of baptism.
