Nikki Davis

Director-

I have always loved learning.  I often spent my childhood days playing school and dreaming of what it would be like to have that come true.  It wasn’t surprising that upon graduating Riverside High School that I decided to pursue a career in Education. I attended Liberty University and received my Bachelor’s degree.

I began my teaching career teaching preschool at Painesville Christian Academy and later taught 1st grade.  In 2005 I took a break from teaching and was blessed with my first son named Addison.  Two years later we welcomed our daughter Abbi to the family.  The days my children were little were wonderful and I was able to work at the Lake County YMCA in the Childwatch program and they came along with me.  In 2010 we welcomed our youngest son Noah to the family.  Watching him grow and as my older children started school,  I got more involved in the YMCA and coordinated several programs there.

When it was time for Noah to go to Pre-Kindergarten, I decided it was time for me to slowly get back into the classroom. It was a great pleasure for me to be an Assistant in the 3’s class at Hope Ridge while Noah was across the hall attending Pre-K.  I was also the assistant in the 4’s class at Hope Ridge.  An opportunity for a Lead Teacher position in a 4’s class became available at another preschool and I decided to advance my career and accept it.

I have had wonderful leadership over me the past several years and have gained valuable information and experience from them.  I am very excited to serve the families, staff and members of Hope Ridge as the Preschool Director. I look forward, in the weeks and months to come in providing quality education and a love for learning for all who are part of the Hope Ridge Preschool family.
