Welcome, we’re glad you’re here! Whether you’re visiting for the first time, returning after some time away, or searching for a new church home, you are welcome at Hope Ridge. Come as you are, find your place, and grow with us in faith, friendship, and service.
Join us on Sundays for worship, community, and a chance to pause over coffee and donuts between services. Each service offers a different way to connect with God and others. Choose what feels right for you.
Worship Services

Traditional Worship
Sundays at 8:45 AM, Chapel
A warm, meaningful service featuring hymns, prayer, and weekly Communion. Everyone, including families with children, are always welcome. Please note: Communion is offered every week during the Traditional service. At Hope Ridge, we practice an open table. Everyone is welcome to participate, including children. No membership required.
Café Fellowship
Sundays at 9:45–10:30 AM, Café
Between services, stop by the Café just off our main entrance of the Worship and Family Life Center for coffee, donuts, and conversation. It’s a relaxed time to meet others, reconnect with friends, reflect on the morning’s message, and check out any current service projects or donation drives that are underway as you walk through.

Contemporary Worship
Sundays at 10:30 AM
Worship and Family Life Center
An uplifting service with modern worship music and plenty of space for families. Children are welcome to enjoy Kidzone, a dedicated area where they can sing, dance, and participate in worship with rhythm instruments. Communion is on Family Sunday, the First Sunday of each month, and we practice open table; everyone is welcome to participate.
Be sure to sign in at the Welcome Table before each service to help us stay connected and keep you informed about events.
Child Care Available: Nursery care is provided during both worship services for children under age 5.
Worship and Families
Families are an important part of our church life, and children are always welcome in both worship services, wiggles, giggles, and all.
If you prefer, childcare is available for children under five during both services, provided by trusted caregivers who create a safe, nurturing space.
During the Contemporary Worship service, families may also enjoy several kid-friendly options:
Kid Kits
Activity bags for children during worship.
KidZone
A special area in the Worship & Family Life Center where children can sing, dance, and worship with rhythm instruments.
RidgeKidz
A Sunday class for children ages 5 through 2nd grade, offering Bible stories, crafts, and fun lessons.
Family Sunday
On the first Sunday of each month, children remain in worship with their families for communion and a short Children’s Moment, a simple, kid-friendly story or lesson shared with the whole congregation.
Bible Explorers
Bible Explorers meets the 2nd and 4th Sundays of each month at 9:30 AM in the Youth Room between worship services.
This small group, designed for Grades 2–5, helps children learn how to navigate the Bible, understand its structure, and explore faith in fun and interactive ways.

You’ll find a friendly, come-as-you-are environment where everyone is welcome.
Dress is casual, parking is easy, and the atmosphere is relaxed, so you can focus on connecting with God and others.

Hope Ridge United Methodist Church is located at:
9870 Johnnycake Ridge Road, Mentor, Ohio 44060.
Look for the Hope Ridge sign on Johnnycake Ridge Road (SR 84).

The Worship & Family Life Center is the first entrance on the right for the 10:30 AM service.

The Chapel (for the 8:45 AM service) is the second entrance.

The Church Office is the third entrance.
Each area is clearly marked with signs, and parking is available near every entrance.
