Serve... Our Community

Project Hope

for the Homeless

Help out by providing a meal on the second Friday of each month. Contact Nancy Rattray to help.

Care for the Church

If you like to garden, take care of projects, or are handy, there are many ways that our Trustees could use your help to continue to keep Hope Ridge a clean, welcoming, and inviting place to worship God and serve our community.

Door to Door Discipleship (D2D)

This is a way to nurture others, serve and witness, and bring discipleship materials directly to someone's door.

  1. Nurture Others: Reach out to folks who are not yet a part of our congregation, new members of our congregation & those newer in their discipleship path, and those that are further along on their discipleship journey by making periodic deliveries of care items and to check in.

  2. Serving & Witness: Jesus was first a servant, so as disciples we consistently use our spiritual gifts to serve and witness to others within and beyond the walls of the church building.

  3. Discipleship: Develop personal relationships/staying connected

Project Hope

for the Homeless

Volunteers are key to our ability to provide shelter and care to Lake County’s homeless. Our volunteers tell us they believe they earn benefits far beyond the amount of effort required of them. Check out opportunities on the link.

Hope Chest

Our Mission is to provide clean clothing and new shoes, socks and underwear to school children in Lake County so that they may attend school with dignity and pride.

Senior Info from our Community Partners

Lake County community agencies and partners often provide Hope Ridge UMC with information that they want to share with those 60+.

The main purpose of the Lake County Senior Phone Pal Program is to lend a listening ear, have fun and engaging conversation, and provide social ties to lessen isolation and loneliness.

Lake County residents who qualify for Phase 1B and are interested in receiving the COVID-19 vaccine are now able to provide name and contact information to be placed on a vaccination clinic scheduling list.
