Food Drive

Food can always be donated through Hope Ridge, we will share it through:

Painesville UMC Food Pantry requests any non-perishable, such as soups, canned fruits and vegetables, pasta and sauces.

St. Gabe's Food Pantry requests paper products, such as toilet paper, paper towels, diapers, and dry pet food (large bags are divided into Ziplock bags). They also accept fresh meat and dairy products, such as yogurt and milk.

Please check all product dates to be sure none have expired, and bring your donations as you come to worship on Sunday morning, or to the church office throughout the week, or leave items outside the church office

in the green tote bin.

Door to Door Discipleship (D2DD)

This is a way to nurture others, serve and witness, and bring discipleship materials directly to someone's door.

  1. Nurture Others: Reach out to folks who are not yet a part of our congregation, new members of our congregation & those newer in their discipleship path, and those that are further along on their discipleship journey by making periodic deliveries of care items and to check in.

  2. Serving & Witness: Jesus was first a servant, so as disciples we consistently use our spiritual gifts to serve and witness to others within and beyond the walls of the church building.

  3. Discipleship: Develop personal relationships/staying connected

Volunteer

Volunteers are key to our ability to provide shelter and care to Lake County’s homeless. Our volunteers tell us they believe they earn benefits far beyond the amount of effort required of them. Check out opportunities on the link.
