Stacey Hartman

Director-

Stacey Hartman has been a part of the Hope Ridge community since 2011. She is a graduate of Riverside High School and received her Bachelor’s degree from Kent State University.  Stacey is married to Chris, and they have two sons, Reece and Owen who attend schools in the Riverside Local School District.

 

Stacey loves the Hope Ridge community and her involvement since 2011 , as a parent, a P.O.P.S. leader, a church member, the Children’s Ministry Coordinator for the church, and as an assistant and lead teacher for the preschool are a testament to her commitment to continuing the mission of the preschool.

 

She is excited to continue to bring her varied career experiences and her passion for creating a collaborative work environment to the role of preschool director. She brings the communication, organization, creative, technical and analytical skills the position requires.  Lastly, she truly understands the importance of a strong connection between not only the church and the preschool in this shared ministry, but also between school and family to continue to make Hope Ridge a place “where children love to learn and learn with love”.

Kathy Burnham

Kathy has worked in the early childhood setting for over 10 years. She lives in Painesville Township with her husband of over 20 years and their 4 sons. Outside of teaching, Kathy loves to read books, go on hikes with her family, and participate in scouting events with her two youngest boys.

Emma Hildebrecht

Emma has enjoyed more than 12 years working with preschoolers, and although she has had experience with all age groups. Three year olds are her absolute favorites! In 2005, she graduated from Kent State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education.  Emma lives in Concord with her three boys, Connor, Cody  and Colton.  Aside from working with children, she loves reading, online shopping, hiking , and camping with her family.

Christie Golias

Christie received her Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education from Lakeland Community College where she was recognized as Lakeland’s Outstanding Early Childhood Education student. During her schooling there, she student taught at Hope Ridge Preschool. She lives in Painesville Township with her family, including two daughters, Avalyn and AnnaMarie. The eldest, Avalyn, is a recent alumni of Hope Ridge Preschool. In her spare time she enjoys spending time outdoors with her family and traveling to their favorite vacation spot, Kelley’s Island. Christie is especially grateful to be able to share the wonderful beginnings of a child’s educational experience with both the children themselves and their families!

Sharyce Newby

Sharyce has worked in childcare and early childhood education for 15 years. She recently moved with her family to Mentor from Houston, Texas in September 2017 and is quickly adapting to Ohio life. Outside of work her family remains busy caring for three children (Ashton (13), Natalie (12), Logan (8)), two dogs (Banner & Ricky), one cat (Zoey) and two lizards (Sprinkles and Skittles). When there is spare time between activities, Sharyce enjoys being outdoors and reading new books.

Patty Norman

Patti has worked for Hope Ridge Preschool for over 15 years.  She has worked in many capacities including assisting with both the 3’s and 4’s classes, teaching the Mom and Me enrichment classes, and presently she is the administrative assistant in the preschool office.  Patty has been a Painesville resident her whole life, and has two grown children. Outside of work, she enjoys walking her Welsh Corgi, and gardening. She is also a very active participant in her church!

Jean Marie Serago

Jean Marie and her family moved to Concord Twp, from Euclid, over 14 years ago.  She and her husband Mike have been married for 27 years and have four children. Jeanmarie’s hobbies include, date nights with her husband, hiking, biking, camping, gardening, watching sunsets with her youngest, and pretty much anything outdoors with the family!

Stacey Shaver

Stacey has been teaching at the preschool level for the over 19 years! She maintains a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education from Notre Dame College of Ohio. Stacey is passionate about learning what is new in the field and has attended numerous conferences to remain up to date in early childhood education. Stacey and her husband Mark have been married for over 13 years and live in Middlefield with their niece.  She enjoys walking their dog, traveling, watching movies, and spending time with friends and family.
