Hope Ridge Youth Group Hope Ridge Youth Group includes high school students in grades 9-12. The church youth select and conduct activities and worship that provides fellowship, worship, and discipleship.  Past youth efforts have included: hosting concerts and multi-media worship, sports events such as dodgeball, volleyball, and basketball, mission trips, East Ohio Conference camps and events. We are pleased to report that the youth group is off to a wonderful start. We have renamed the youth group Gravity: Experience the Pull. Our members all feel Christ pulling them towards Him. They also feel a calling to bring others to Gravity. Therefore, our group is growing at a rapid pace. Our primary focus has been building interpersonal relationships within the group and building trust. We focus much of our energy on the power of prayer and giving our concerns over to Christ. We pray for each individual's needs as a group. The power of the Holy Spirit can be felt during this prayer time. We are excited to begin our study of Jesus. We will explore the life of Jesus with the assistance of a series that combines the biographical, historical, and spiritual journey of our Lord and Savior. Many of the teachings take place in the Holy Land. As a group, we will have the experience of seeing the grounds that Jesus walked on and the various landmarks  associated with his ministry. The rapid growth of our Young Adult ministry has given rise to the need for the additional adults. We are looking for 4 to 6 people who would be willing to commit time to this new ministry. Our expectation is that they will not be responsible for determining curriculum, but to assist with the implementation of the programs we are focusing on.
