© Hope Ridge UMC 2012 Branch of Hope is a project of Hope Ridge that is part of the Craft and Antique Co-op in Painesville Township near the corner of Bacon Road and Route 20. We offer quality pieces that can be priced under $30, as well as more expensive items.  Branch of Hope is prepared for Halloween and fall. There is no particular theme, so your items may be useful right now.  You are encouraged to contact Betty Bowerman at 352-9445 or Carol Benroth at 352-6002 to offer donations to the booth.  If you want to visit the co-op, it is open 10:00 - 5:00, Thursday through Sunday, and it is located on the corner of Bacon Road and route 20 in Painesville Township.  It's a large facility with lots of tempting merchandise. If you wish to donate items to the booth, contact Carol at 440-352-6002 (jncbenroth@msn.com) or Betty at 440-352-9445 (betty-bobbowerman@roadrunner.com) for information on when and how  to make the donation.  If you know the value of your items, we will be glad to get that information, but we are willing to research the values.  We check various sources and try to rely more on specialized sources than on eBay only, since that often represents amateurs who may overprice or undervalue their items.  We try to find a reliable price and then price our goods competitively.   We will keep a balance of items in the booth by their cost: both “impulse buys” of $5-$25 and more serious purchases.  Any unsold items will be returned to you. All of the proceeds from the booth (after the co-op commission) go to Hope Ridge Church.  15% of the money goes into a special fund to cover the booth rental and co-op administration fees.  The remaining 85% goes into the general fund and can be applied to your pledge if you choose.  Your giving statement will reflect both the 15% and 85%. If you want to visit the booth, it is #136A, in the next-to-last row toward the right side of the store.  If  you want to donate some time to this project, we welcome offers of 3.5 hours of either morning or afternoon time during a co- op business day.  Our booth owes one work day to the co-op each month, and  we must report which day we choose for the following month.
